Short bio
Currently, I am a post-doctoral researcher in the ERODS research group, part of the Grenoble Computer Science Laboratory LIG (Laboratoire d’Informatique de Grenoble), in Grenoble, France. My position is founded by the University of Grenoble I – UJF thorugh the AMADEOS european project. I received my Ph. D. degree in computer science from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain) in 2010 in the Distributed systems Lab (LSD) under the supervision of by Marta Patiño-Martínez, co-director of the laboratory. My thesis was founded by Microsoft Research Cambridge under the European PhD Scholarship Programme. After defending my PhD thesis, I spent two years as a post-doctoral researcher in the SARDES project, part of Inria and LIG in Grenoble, France. During my stay in Inria I was founded by the ANR MyCloud project.
Nowadays, my research focuses in designing and developing cloud services that are able to provide improved Quality-of-Service (QoS) guarantees through self-elasticity.
