INRIA Grenoble organizes, in cooperation with EuroSys, the second winter school on Hot Topics in Distributed Computing. This winter school will take place in La Plagne, a french ski resort, from March 15th to March 20th 2009.

This winter school will give the opportunity to researchers and PhD students to attend talks and discuss hot topics in distributed computing, from both a theoretical and a practical perspective. Topics that will be covered by the school include P2P systems, sensor networks, transactional memory, large-scale publish/subscribe systems, byzantine-tolerant algorithms, etc.

The school is sponsored by EuroSys (the european chapter of ACM SIGOPS) and INRIA.
