Noel De Palma received his PhD in computer science from the Grenoble Institute of Technology in 2001. From 2002, he was Associate Professor in computer science at University of Grenoble (ENSIMAG/INP) and he was member of the SIRAC and SARDES teams (LSR/LIG Labs) at INRIA Rhone-Alpes. Since 2010 he is professor at University of Grenoble Alps (UFR IM2AG/UGA). He is a member of the LIG Lab (CNRS, Grenoble INP, INRIA Grenoble Rhône-Alpes and University Grenoble Alpes) where he serves as deputy director of the LIG Lab. He leads the ERODS team where he conducts research on Middleware, Autonomic Computing and Cloud Computing with a focus on resources management, failure management and performance optimization. He currently applies his research on various application domains like fluid mechanics, healthcare.
