The filesize of the package file. In case of download a file with this size has to be transfered. |

Group |
Groups packages together by the types of functionality they provide. The group specification is similar to a path, in that it specifies more general groupings before more detailed ones. |
Operating System |
The operating system for which the package was built. |
Package Name |
The name of the software being packaged. This name should be identical to the first part of the filename. |
Package Size |
Total size of every file installed by the package. |
Packager |
Contact information for the person or persons who built the package. In larger organizations this could also be a pbulic relations contact. |
Provides |
Specifies a virtual package that the packaged software makes available when it is installed. |
Release |
The release designation can be thought of as the package version. The release number should be 1 when the software is first being packaged. If it is necessary to repackage that software at the same version, the release should be incremented. The release should be reset to 1 when a new version of the software becomes available and this new version is first being packaged. |
Requires |
Lists capabilities that the package needs to have in order to operate properly. |

Name of the organisation that is responsible for packaging the software. |
