{"id":1794,"date":"2025-04-02T10:39:48","date_gmt":"2025-04-02T09:39:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lig-membres.imag.fr\/gensel\/?page_id=1794"},"modified":"2025-04-02T15:09:30","modified_gmt":"2025-04-02T14:09:30","slug":"abstract","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/lig-membres.imag.fr\/gensel\/en\/research\/abstract\/","title":{"rendered":"Abstract"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m in charge of the <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Stories<\/span> research group (for <span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Semantic Trajectories<\/span>) at the Grenoble Computer Science Laboratory, created on January 1, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The Stories team&#8217;s research focuses on the concept of <span style=\"color: #800080\">semantic trajectories<\/span>, dedicated to the representation and analysis of the evolution of objects or phenomena.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, my researches address essentially the problems related to <span style=\"color: #800080\">Semantic Trajectories<\/span>, mainly those of <span style=\"color: #008000\">Territories <\/span>(political, administrative, socio-economic trajectories, etc.) and those of\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #008000\">Individuals<\/span> (family, residential, professional, health trajectories, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>To study these composite and complex spatio-temporal objects, I rely on the representation and analysis tools of the Semantic Web and Machine Learning.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of <span style=\"color: #008000\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">modeling<\/span>, <\/span>existing ontology languages and standard vocabularies make it possible to account for the multidimensional aspect (temporal, spatial and multi-thematic) of semantic trajectories.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">analysis<\/span>, these semantic trajectories are understood as temporal sequences of multidimensional and heterogeneous data. The analysis axes mainly concern the classification and the search for recurrent patterns.
