Professor in computer science at the University of Grenoble-Alpes, I teach computer science in the computer science department of the IUT2. I carry out my research in the field of the engineering of interactive systems within the VASCO research team (software engineering) of the LIG laboratory. Between 2007 and 2024, I conducted my research within the EHCI research team.
Research
My main research focuses on the specific class of engaging/persuasive interactive systems. In particular, I am interested in interactive systems engineering through tools for the designer and in Model-Based User Interface (MBUI) approaches. My publications are available on HAL, the French scientific archive library.
Teaching
I teach mainly to undergraduate students (BUT) at computer science department of IUT2 as well as to postgraduate students (Master 2 Mosig, UGA). I teach: programming and algorithmics (Java, C/C++, Python), low-level operations and programming (hardware architecture, assembler), networks and security, web technologies (Angular, WebGL). I used to teach HCI as well.
Education
Graduated with a habilitation to direct research (2014) and a PhD in computer science (2002) from Joseph Fourier university, I also obtained an engineering degree in computer science from ENSIMAG (Grenoble, 1998).
Research collaborations
o ePsyCHI (ANR funding, collaborative project) : Engineering designing tools of interactive behavior change support systems.
o Learning Home (ANR funding, collaborative project) : Human-System cooperation for energy management.
o PISTIL : working group on persuasive technologies and behavior change support systems of the French scientific society of HCI (AFIHM)
