Research Interests

Monitoring data evolving over time is a key ability to handle Big Data velocity. In network traffic administration, an analyst may want to query traffic data to understand causality between events. On a crowdsourcing platform, an administrator may want to monitor workers’ arrival, task completion, and optimize task assignment to workers in a continuous manner. These are some example of systems that usually produce large amounts of data in the form of logs or streams. The goal of my PhD thesis is to develop efficient tools to monitor such datasets.
