Research

I do research at LIG, in the Steamer Group that I lead since September 2017.

My work focuses, on the one hand, on the representation of multidimensional knowledge (spatial, temporal and thematic) in the Semantic Web and, on the other hand, on geovisualisation techniques. These two fields are being explored jointly in order to propose new approaches, tools and methodologies dedicated to a more efficient construction of representations (both conceptual and geovisual) of knowledge from Geographic Information Science mobilised by the Human and Social Sciences. One of the main areas in which my research is currently being applied is the study of life courses.

My publications are listed on :

Since 2022, I have been head of the GDR CNRS MAGIS (Methods and Applications for Geomatics and Spatial Information) in collaboration with Matthieu Noucher (DR CNRS, UMR PASSAGE) and Françoise Gourmelon (DR CNRS, UMR LETG).
